Steve is a Director of Finnamore Management Consultants which he joined in 1994. He has managed a number of important client assignments since then, these have included several major business cases, a review of the national capital allocation system for the NHS Executive and three county-wide reviews of Trust configurations. His particular interests are in strategic planning, service development, investment appraisal and the Private Finance Initiative. He has fifteen years senior management experience in the health service plus another eleven years planning experience with a major development corporation and Social Services department where he had responsibility for social policy, planning and research. He graduated in Economics from the University of Essex and has postgraduate qualifications in both Management & Accountancy including an MA with distinction from Bristol Business School. He has completed the prestigious Senior Executive Programme at London Business School and held an honorary position at the University of Bristol School for Advanced Urban Studies. He is now a Visiting Fellow at the University of the West of England.
